Experience:

With 37 years of experience in the electronic engineering field, Paul has held such positions within Motorola as Develop-ment Engineer, Project Engineer, Engineering Section Manager, Manufacturing Manager, as well as Manager of Technical Services and Manager of Manufacturing Engineering. During the last 20 years, he has been Quality Assurance Manager of several divisions and Senior Corporate Applications Consultant within Motorola. He served on a Sector task force to upgrade the Customer Order System which was able to reduce factory-order errors by a factor of 40:1 while improving cycle time and reducing cost per order. As QA Manager of the Secure and Advanced Conventional Systems Division, was able to cut customer complaints in half. Paul was also an internal senior examiner using the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria, which evaluated within-Motorola group submissions to Corporate, as well as a member of the Corporate Quality Council committee to write the QSR Guidelines, which are in widespread use internally and externally. As President of his own consulting and training service, Paul Zaura & Associates, Paul offers his expertise to commercial, industrial, and service customers.
