I worked with Charles Loew over the past 4 years, initially when he was with Motorola and now as an independent entrepreneur heading up his own company, MASET.
Charles was the leader of a team of Motorola Six Sigma consultants and trainers, which helped Citigroup take its quality initiative to new levels starting in 1997. Charles developed a senior level awareness and understanding 4-day seminar for top Citigroup executives, and personally co-taught many of the 30 sessions we ran that year for well over 400 senior managers.
Through the efforts of Charles and his team, our cadre of seniors learned how to implement Six Sigma, which resulted in nearly a billion dollars of financial benefits to the organization over the past 4 years.
Charles also organized and taught a 5-day Cross Functional Process Mapping course on Six Sigma methods and techniques to over 100 Citigroup facilitators in training. We continue to use the Motorola Six Sigma framework for major cross-functional improvement projects.
Being involved as a senior quality professional for nearly 17 years at Citigroup, I know value added when I see it and Charles has been a major factor in the success of our quality renewal at Citigroup.
