Charles Loew was engaged by ICI/Orica in the reengineering of the order fulfillment process using the Six Sigma and Cycle Time Reduction methodology. Charles was the lead consultant and managed, a large cross-functional team in the redesign of an extremely complex Orica process. This redesign was instrumental in the smooth implementation of our SAP system and in achieving the benefits expected by the businesses.
Charles proved to be a very experienced and capable consultant who constantly challenged the team during the process and brought many examples of industry best practice to the project. He managed to adopt his style to fit the Orica culture and earned the respect of both the process team and the senior management in Orica. Beyond the specific project Charles placed a high priority in knowledge transfer, so that Orica staff were left with the capability to carry out this type of exercise independently.
