    Experience:

    Roger Lohn is a nationally recognized expert in quality assurance with more than 30 years experience in the field. He made significant contributions to the Quality System Reviews that helped Motorola win the Malcolm Baldrige Award and to the book currently used by the Motorola Corporate Quality Council. In addition, he has authored numerous publications on reliability, quality, productivity and testing for IEEE, ASQC, DOD and NASA. Currently, Roger is Senior Applications Consultant at Motorola University responsible for helping companies institute business strategies, procedures, and techniques leading to improved cost-performance. Roger has held Senior Reliability and Quality positions with Semi-conductor Products Sector; Codex, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Motorola; and Communication Products. At Motorola Mobile Communications Products Division, Roger served as Director of Quality Assurance and instituted improvements that saved the corporation $2.2 million annually. Roger was also part of a design team for a new $15 million mobile radio factory that reduced cycle times over 60%, while improving quality over 50%. As Director of R & QA at Codex-Phoenix Operations, he managed teams that designed computer tests for software acceptance and designed an environmental laboratory for hardware. He also implemented quality measurements throughout the operation. As Manager, R & QA for the Small Signal and Sensors Products Division, he helped design a new factory that reduced cycle time by 92% and improved quality by a factor of 100.
