Coaching Roundtable for
Emerging Women Leaders: M-1010
DESCRIPTION:
This workshop is designed for women professionals who seek advancement in leadership positions in industries and organizations that are largely male-dominated. In these settings, there is difficulty finding leadership models to relate to. This 8-session forum provides young women with a safe space to share their challenges and find effective strategies to deal with the issues they face. Our coaching roundtable sessions provide a just-in-time response for dealing with personal leadership challenges. The bi-monthly format allows participants to implement strategies and convene to assess outcomes.
OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Recognize the exemplary practices of leaders
- Identify personal strengths and challenges as an emerging woman leader
- Raise performance in the areas of communication, meeting leadership, conflict management and other critical skill sets that leaders need
- Understand gender differences and how to be successful in male-dominated settings
- Learn specific skills and strategies to enhance personal leadership
- Utilize the value of peer and group mentoring

Eight 2-hour sessions - Bi-monthly

Women who wish to raise the level of their leadership or seek a management position
6-10 participants
PREREQUISITES:
No prerequisites to this class but participants must commit to attend all eight sessions

Attainment of Personal and Organizational Goals
