DESCRIPTION:
This seminar teaches teams how to process among themselves, stressing the importance of understanding and modifying behavior for interaction with different personality types - meeting another's psychological needs, individual perceptions and preferred communication styles. The six major conflicts of groups are identified and formulas are presented to resolve them and enhance effective communication and productivity. Each person receives a Quality Team's profile incorporated into her or his manual. For more information on the Process Communication Model, click PCM.
OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Identify the six "Kahler" personality types.
- Connect and communicate with other team members according to their favored channel of communication.
- Determine the psychological and motivational needs of teammates.
- Identify the negative behaviors that teammates display when under stress and subconsciously use to sabotage team success.
- Offer ways to invite teammates out of negative behavior, miscommunication, and distress.
AUDIENCE:
Teams who want to improve communication and generate more effective output.
PREREQUISITES:
No prerequisites to this class.
