Value Discipline Workshop
This one-day workshop focuses on the customer and the specific attributes/ approaches an organization must utilize in dealing with its customer(s). Extensive research has verified that successful companies dominate their markets by focusing on their customers' needs and their own core competencies. There are three value "disciplines" which an organization can follow -- operational excellence, product leadership, and customer intimacy. Participants will understand the three disciplines, how their organizations must be aligned to be successful at these disciplines, and how to most successfully focus their customer energies.
The objectives of the workshop are for participants to:
- Understand how to identify the specific needs of the customer
- Identify their own organization's value discipline or utilize a framework to identify/modify their organization's value discipline.
- Be able to define how the adoption of a discipline impacts how the organization does business - both with its customers and internally.
- Identify the required organization changes - to existing work processes, sales approaches, job expectations and performance measurements in order to best align with the chosen discipline.
Anyone who is directly or indirectly involved in the customer process - virtually the entire organization!
