PEAK PERFORMANCE ACTIONS

DESCRIPTION:
In addition to the various technical tools applied for performance improvement, organizations and managers must apply effective leadership. The Peak Performance Actions are six behaviors that, when applied appropriately, foster a work environment that is respectful, encourages risk taking, and nurtures improvement activity. Participants will learn the do's and don'ts of the Peak Performance Actions in an interactive lecture workshop environment. Participants come away with an enhanced knowledge of using positive reinforcement for behavior modification, their own tendency to over or under manage, and how to get valuable and appropriate input prior to making decisions. Participants are given a style indicator, a self-diagnostic tool to reveal where their particular strengths and weaknesses fall regarding the application of the Peak Performance Actions.

OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Articulate the Six Peak Performance Actions
- Discuss the linkage of the actions
- Identify which actions are innate and which are challenges
- Develop a plan of use tool
- Apply the actions immediately upon return to the work environment
AUDIENCE:
This course is applicable to management of all levels, professional personnel with non-supervisory roles, work teams, and improvement teams.
PREREQUISITES:
No prerequisites to this class
